The UGC NET Commerce exam (Code 08) was held on 04 March 2023 by the NTA for the December 2022 attempt. Like the previous attempt, the paper was held in two separate shifts (morning and evening).
At Human Peritus, we conduct a thorough question-by-question analysis after every UGC NET exam to determine how many questions from our course appeared in the NET exam. The objective of this exercise is to assess the effectiveness of our course ( can you depend completely on Human Peritus? ). We have been conducting this analysis for the last 6 years and have consistently observed that 85-95 questions appear from our course, out of 100 questions in the paper.
In the current exam of December 2022, 92 questions in the morning shift and 93 questions in the evening shift appeared from our course. Considering the fact that the cut-off for JRF in Commerce usually hovers around 60-65, someone who had prepared with Human Peritus would have easily cracked UGC NET in Commerce with a targeted approach of 4 months of preparation. You can check out a detailed analysis all previous attempts June 2021, June 2020, Dec 2019, June 2019
We have categorized all 100 questions into two buckets, namely “average” and “tough” for your convenience. The “average” category questions are those that you can answer correctly if you have prepared seriously for the exam. On the other hand, the “tough” category questions are those where it’s okay if you didn’t get them right in the exam, as most students would have faced the same challenge. It’s important to note that your selection does not depend on the “tough” questions but rather on how many “average” questions you answer correctly. Go through this categorization to assess, where you stand.
In addition to exam analysis, we provide other important information related to the UGC NET in Commerce exam, such as syllabus, eligibility criteria, coaching classes, study material, recommended books, previous years’ question papers, and cut-off marks. Our team is always here to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have during your preparation journey.
