Syllabus of UPSC Drugs Inspector (Medical Devices) exam 2025 for CDSCO
The syllabus for the Drugs Inspector (Medical Devices) exam conducted by the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) is explained on this page. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts this examination with 120 objective-type questions, each carrying 2.5 marks, and there is a provision of one-third negative marking.
The official notification for the Drugs Inspector (Medical Devices) exam under CDSCO was released by UPSC in May 2025.
It is important to note that in 2025, UPSC has introduced a revised syllabus for this examination. The previous exam was held on 15 December 2018, and at that time, the syllabus followed by UPSC was different from the one now applicable.
