UGC NET 2018 Notification – Application form and Dates

Next UGC NET exam will be conducted on 08 July 2018. The application process will start from 06 Mar 18 and last date is 05 Apr 18.

There will be two papers:

Paper-1 with 50 questions of 2 marks each

Paper-2 with 100 questions of 2 marks each

It was reported in Newspapers in November 2017 that UGC will revise syllabus of NET exam. Now there is full clarity.

Please note that there is NO CHANGE in the Syllabus. There is change only in pattern of exam.

So, how will this impact your preparation strategy?

Earlier there were two papers on subject (Paper-2 with 50 questions and Paper-3 with 75 questions). From July 2018 exam, these two papers have been merged into single paper of 100 questions. To summarize, earlier you were doing 125 (50+75) questions in 2 papers, now you will attempt 100 questions in single paper.

Please note that there is NO change in preparation strategy. You have to go through same entire syllabus. You have to go through last years question papers of both paper-2 and paper-3.

Thus proposed changes will have no adverse effect on preparation of Human Peritus students.
